Reliable pallet wrapping for loads of all sizes

Stretch Wrappers – Turntable

Product Overview

Engineered for Your Production Needs

The STW Series Semi-Automatic Turntable Stretch Wrappers provide a reliable and cost-effective solution for securing pallet loads with stretch film. Available in low-profile and high-profile configurations, the series can be adapted to different pallet loading methods, production environments and wrapping requirements.

Four main configurations are available:

  • STWLP – Low-profile turntable with standard film carriage
  • STWLPX – Low-profile turntable with X-STRETCH pre-stretch film carriage
  • STWHP – High-profile turntable with standard film carriage
  • STWHPX – High-profile turntable with X-STRETCH pre-stretch film carriage

The low-profile (LP) configuration positions the turntable close to floor level, allowing pallets to be loaded by forklift or pallet jack when equipped with an optional loading ramp. The reference low-profile design uses a 59-inch turntable positioned approximately 3 inches from the floor and supports loads up to 5,000 lb.

The high-profile (HP) configuration raises the turntable from floor level and is designed primarily for forklift-loaded pallets, eliminating the need for a pallet-jack loading ramp.

STW models feature an operator-friendly semi-automatic wrapping cycle. Once the pallet is positioned, the system automatically detects the load height using a photo eye and performs the programmed wrapping sequence. Top and bottom wrap counts, carriage speed and other wrapping parameters can be adjusted according to the pallet load. Soft turntable acceleration and deceleration help maintain stability when wrapping lighter or less stable loads.

X-STRETCH Film Carriage

The STWLPX and STWHPX incorporate the X-STRETCH powered pre-stretch film carriage, designed to significantly stretch the film before it is applied to the pallet.

The reference X-STRETCH system provides a 250% standard pre-stretch ratio, electronically adjustable film tension and automatic corner compensation. Pre-stretching helps reduce film consumption while maintaining consistent containment force around the pallet.

For example, a 250% pre-stretch ratio means 1 foot of unstretched film is extended to approximately 3.5 feet before application, providing significant potential film savings compared with a conventional film carriage.

Standard STWLP and STWHP models can use a simpler film carriage for applications where high levels of powered pre-stretch are not required. The reference standard carriage provides adjustable film force and film stretch up to 150%.

The STW Series can accommodate a wide range of boxes, cases, bags, trays, containers and irregular palletized loads and can be configured with larger turntables, taller towers and other options for oversized pallets.

The COMBO models offer a compact L-bar sealer and shrink tunnel in one frame with high reliability which makes it a very popular product

Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product. Single or multipack products are manually loaded on the working table. The ergonomic sealing arm covers the heating element which creates the perfect seal. The motorized conveyor eases the product transfer into the heat chamber for the ultimate package. The integrated heat tunnel features a top, bottom and side heated air flow, twin blowers, teflon mesh belt that are all controlled with the SATU digital keypad
