Custom conveyor guiding solutions for controlled product handling, alignment and changeovers

Side Guide Types

Product Overview

Engineered for Your Production Needs

Saturn Side Guide Systems provide controlled product guidance throughout conveyor and packaging lines. Side guides can be configured for bottles, cans, jars, containers, cartons, cases, trays, pouches and individual products, with the guide design selected according to product shape, stability, speed and line requirements. Systems are available with fixed or adjustable guides. Fixed guides provide a simple solution for dedicated product sizes, while adjustable systems allow the conveyor width to be changed for different product formats. Guide rails can be installed as single or double configurations on each side of the conveyor. Multiple guide levels are particularly useful for tall or unstable products such as bottles and containers, providing additional support while maintaining smooth product flow.

Adjustable & Automatic Side Guides

For production lines handling multiple product formats, Saturn can provide manual, automatic or powered side guide adjustment. Manual systems can use hand knobs, clamps, handwheels or synchronized adjustment mechanisms for repeatable changeovers. For highly automated lines, automatic side guides can be adjusted using powered actuators and integrated with the machine PLC. Guide positions can be stored as recipes, allowing the conveyor to automatically change between different product widths with minimal operator intervention.

Sanitary & Removable Side Guides

For food and washdown applications, side guide systems can be designed with stainless steel components, sanitary mounting hardware and open, cleanable construction. Quick-removable side guides can be provided to improve conveyor access during sanitation and maintenance. Guide supports and brackets can be designed to minimize product and water accumulation while allowing operators to easily remove or reposition guide components.

Motorized Side Belts

For applications requiring more than passive product guidance, Saturn can integrate motorized side belts alongside the conveyor. Powered side belts can gently grip, stabilize, align or control products as they travel through the system. They can also be used for product centering, spacing, orientation and controlled transfer into downstream equipment. Side belt speed can be synchronized with the main conveyor or independently controlled depending on the application.

The COMBO models offer a compact L-bar sealer and shrink tunnel in one frame with high reliability which makes it a very popular product

Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product.
