The Print & Apply Systems combine industrial label printing and automatic label application into a single process. Labels are printed on demand with fixed or variable information, automatically dispensed and applied directly to products, cartons, cases or pallets as they move through the production or packaging line.
The systems are designed for applications requiring real-time variable information, including product descriptions, lot and batch numbers, production and expiration dates, serial numbers, barcodes, 2D codes, shipping information and traceability data.
A major advantage of the system is the wide range of available applicators, allowing the equipment to be configured according to the package, label position, product movement and production speed.
Tamp-on applicators use a controlled stroke to place the printed label directly onto the package and are suitable for top, side and bottom label application.
Blow-on applicators provide contactless label application by transferring the label onto the product using air, making them ideal for fragile, lightweight or difficult-to-contact products.
Swing applicators allow labels to be applied to the leading face or side of a moving product or case when a traditional straight tamp movement is not possible.
Corner-wrap applicators apply labels across two adjacent surfaces, creating a corner label that spans the edge of a carton or case for improved visibility and identification.
Depending on the application, labels can be applied to the top, bottom, side, front or corner of a package. Multiple applicators can also be combined when labels are required on several surfaces.
The systems support both thermal transfer and direct thermal printing and can generate text, graphics, barcodes, QR codes and other variable information in real time.
Applications include product labeling, case identification, shipping labels, pallet labels, GS1 compliance labels, logistics labels and traceability programs across a wide range of industries.
The systems can be installed directly on an existing conveyor or supplied as a complete labeling station with product detection, conveyors, guarding, barcode verification and vision inspection.
Print & Apply Systems can operate as standalone equipment or be integrated with case packers, case sealers, palletizers, conveyors, stretch wrappers and complete turnkey packaging lines.
Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product. Single or multipack products are manually loaded on the working table. The ergonomic sealing arm covers the heating element which creates the perfect seal. The motorized conveyor eases the product transfer into the heat chamber for the ultimate package. The integrated heat tunnel features a top, bottom and side heated air flow, twin blowers, teflon mesh belt that are all controlled with the SATU digital keypad
