Versatile belt conveying for reliable product handling across production lines

Belt Conveyors (PVC/PU)

Product Overview

Engineered for Your Production Needs

Saturn PVC / PU Belt Conveyors provide a versatile solution for transporting products throughout processing, production and packaging lines. Each conveyor can be custom engineered according to the product, required belt width and length, operating speed, environment and line layout.

Conveyors are available with either painted steel or stainless steel frames, allowing the construction to be selected according to the operating environment. Stainless steel configurations are particularly suitable for food, pharmaceutical and other applications where corrosion resistance and cleanability are important.

A wide selection of PVC and polyurethane (PU) belts is available to suit different products and operating conditions. Belt characteristics can be selected based on required friction, product release, resistance to oils and fats, surface texture and food-contact requirements. FDA-compliant belt materials are available for food-handling applications. Food-grade PU and PVC belts are commonly used with stainless conveyor construction for food processing and packaging applications.

V-guided belts are available to improve belt tracking and maintain consistent belt positioning along the conveyor. A guide profile attached to the underside of the belt runs within a corresponding groove in the conveyor bed and pulleys, providing positive lateral guidance. V-guided tracking is an established configuration on industrial and food-grade flat belt conveyors.

Different belt surfaces and configurations can be provided depending on the application, including smooth, high-friction, low-friction, textured and cleated belts. This allows the conveyor to handle products ranging from cartons and packaged goods to bakery products and other food products.

Conveyors can be designed for horizontal, incline or decline operation, with custom side guides, supports and product handling components. Adjustable or fixed side guides can be incorporated according to the product dimensions and required positioning.

Drive systems can be configured with fixed or variable speeds, and drive location can be selected according to the conveyor layout and available space. Sensors, encoders, product stops and other automation components can also be incorporated when the conveyor needs to interface with upstream or downstream machinery.

Saturn PVC / PU Belt Conveyors can be supplied as individual conveyors or integrated with packaging machines, inspection systems, coding equipment, product handling systems and complete automated production lines.

The COMBO models offer a compact L-bar sealer and shrink tunnel in one frame with high reliability which makes it a very popular product

Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product. Single or multipack products are manually loaded on the working table. The ergonomic sealing arm covers the heating element which creates the perfect seal. The motorized conveyor eases the product transfer into the heat chamber for the ultimate package. The integrated heat tunnel features a top, bottom and side heated air flow, twin blowers, teflon mesh belt that are all controlled with the SATU digital keypad
