Saturn Butcher Station Conveyors are custom-designed sanitary conveyor systems that combine product conveying with integrated operator workstations for meat and poultry cutting, trimming, deboning and portioning operations.
The systems create an organized production flow by continuously delivering product to individual butcher stations and transporting processed product to the next operation. Depending on the application, the line can incorporate multiple conveyors within a common frame, allowing incoming product, finished cuts, trimmings, waste, trays or containers to follow separate paths. Multi-conveyor trim lines are commonly used to separate finished product from trim and waste while maintaining an efficient workstation layout.
Workstations can be positioned on one or both sides of the conveyor and customized according to the number of operators, product being processed and required production flow. Cutting surfaces, work tables, product chutes, trim chutes and other workstation components can be incorporated directly into the conveyor system.
The systems can be designed for beef, pork, poultry and other meat-processing applications, including primal cutting, portioning, deboning, trimming and product preparation. Similar industrial boning and trimming lines use integrated workstations and sanitary conveyor construction specifically to organize these labor-intensive operations.
Operator ergonomics are an important consideration in the design of each system. Conveyor height, workstation dimensions, product presentation and operator reach can be adapted to the specific operation to create a more comfortable and efficient working position. Conveyor workstation ergonomics are strongly influenced by conveyor height, width, speed and operator reach distance.
Butcher Station Conveyors are constructed for demanding food-processing environments and can incorporate stainless steel frames, food-grade belting, sanitary bearings, stand-offs, minimized horizontal surfaces and other hygienic design features to improve accessibility during cleaning and sanitation.
Depending on the process, the system can incorporate modular plastic belts, homogeneous belts or other food-grade conveyor technologies, with the belt selected according to the product, cutting operation and sanitation requirements.
Multiple conveyor levels or lanes can also be incorporated. For example, one conveyor can deliver unprocessed product to the operators while separate conveyors remove finished product and trimmings, helping maintain an organized and continuous processing flow. Multi-level cutting systems are also used in the industry to separately transport raw product, processed meat and trays or containers.
Saturn Butcher Station Conveyors are custom engineered around the processing operation and plant layout and can be supplied as an individual workstation conveyor or as part of a complete meat-processing line with product feeding, grading, inspection, packaging and downstream conveyor systems.
Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product. Single or multipack products are manually loaded on the working table. The ergonomic sealing arm covers the heating element which creates the perfect seal. The motorized conveyor eases the product transfer into the heat chamber for the ultimate package. The integrated heat tunnel features a top, bottom and side heated air flow, twin blowers, teflon mesh belt that are all controlled with the SATU digital keypad
