Versatile chain conveying for reliable bottle, container and package handling

Table Top Conveyors

Product Overview

Engineered for Your Production Needs

Saturn Table Top Conveyors provide a versatile and reliable solution for transporting bottles, cans, jars, containers and packaged products throughout production and packaging lines.

The conveyor uses a continuous flat-top chain running over wear strips and sprockets, creating a smooth and stable conveying surface particularly well suited for upright containers. Saturn offers both plastic and metal tabletop chains, with straight-running and side-flexing configurations available.

A wide range of chain styles and materials can be selected according to the product, production environment and required conveyor performance. Options can include plastic or stainless steel chains, low-friction surfaces, low-backpressure designs, grip surfaces and other application-specific chain technologies.

Straight-running chains are ideal for linear conveyor sections, while side-flexing chains allow products to travel through both straight sections and horizontal curves. Saturn can incorporate 30°, 45°, 90° and custom curved sections, allowing conveyors to be configured around equipment, columns and available production space.

Table Top Conveyors can be designed as single-lane or multiple-lane systems. Multiple parallel chains can be incorporated for higher-capacity conveying, product distribution, accumulation and transitions between different areas of a production line.

Different chain widths can be selected according to the product footprint, stability and conveyor configuration. Saturn’s existing tabletop conveyor range supports chain widths from approximately 3.25″ to 12″, with custom multi-chain configurations available for wider conveying surfaces.

A variety of product transfer configurations can be incorporated, including inline transfers, side parallel transfers, dead plates, roller transfers and dynamic knife transfers. These options help maintain product stability when transferring between conveyors or adjacent production equipment.

Adjustable or fixed side guide systems can be incorporated to maintain product stability and accommodate different bottle, jar, can or container formats. Guide configuration, height and spacing can be customized according to the application.

Saturn Table Top Conveyors can be manufactured with painted carbon steel or stainless steel frames. Stainless steel, washdown and sanitary upgrades are available for food, beverage and other applications requiring increased corrosion resistance and cleanability.

For applications requiring improved sanitation, Saturn can provide a raised-bed sanitary design, where the tabletop chain and wear-strip bed are elevated above the main conveyor frame. This creates greater visibility and access beneath the conveying surface, making it easier to clean areas where spilled product, liquids and debris could otherwise accumulate. Raised-bed construction is an established sanitary tabletop conveyor design for improving cleaning access.

Raised-bed configurations are particularly suited for food, beverage, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production environments where frequent cleaning and improved conveyor accessibility are required.

Table Top Conveyors can operate at fixed or variable speeds, with multiple conveyor sections operating at different speeds when required to control product flow. Sensors, variable-frequency drives and PLC controls can also be incorporated for automated line operation.

Saturn Table Top Conveyors can be supplied as standalone equipment or integrated with fillers, cappers, rinsers, labelers, inkjet printers, laser markers, inspection systems, accumulation conveyors, mass-flow conveyors, single filing systems, case packers and complete production lines.

The COMBO models offer a compact L-bar sealer and shrink tunnel in one frame with high reliability which makes it a very popular product

Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product. Single or multipack products are manually loaded on the working table. The ergonomic sealing arm covers the heating element which creates the perfect seal. The motorized conveyor eases the product transfer into the heat chamber for the ultimate package. The integrated heat tunnel features a top, bottom and side heated air flow, twin blowers, teflon mesh belt that are all controlled with the SATU digital keypad
