Ultra-compact curved conveying for maximum production floor space

Zero Tangent Conveyors (compact)

Product Overview

Engineered for Your Production Needs

Saturn Zero Tangent Curved Conveyors provide a compact solution for changing product direction while using significantly less floor space than conventional curved conveyor designs.

The zero-tangent design eliminates the need for straight conveyor sections before and after the curve, allowing products to enter the turn immediately and discharge directly from the curve. This makes the system particularly well suited for production areas where available floor space is limited.

Systems can be manufactured in a range of belt widths and inner turning radii, allowing the conveyor geometry to be selected according to the product dimensions, required curve angle and available installation space. Zero-tangent belt technology can maintain a constant inner radius across different belt widths within a given belt platform.

Multiple curve angles can be provided, including 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 135° and 180° configurations, as well as application-specific layouts where available. This flexibility allows compact curves to be incorporated into both simple and complex production line layouts.

The conveyor uses a positively driven modular plastic belt designed specifically for tight-radius conveying. The flat conveying surface provides stable product support while helping maintain product position and orientation throughout the curve.

Saturn Zero Tangent Curved Conveyors can be configured with either an end drive or center drive, depending on the conveyor layout, curve geometry and surrounding equipment. Center-drive architecture can be particularly useful when a compact arrangement is required without dedicating the drive to the conveyor discharge end.

These conveyors are suitable for a broad range of products, including trays, cartons, cases, bags, pouches, packaged foods and individual products. The continuous flat-top surface is also well suited for products that require stable orientation through the turn.

Different side guide configurations can be incorporated according to product dimensions and stability. Guides can be fixed, adjustable or custom designed around the product and required changeover requirements.

Frame construction can be supplied in painted steel or stainless steel, with washdown and sanitary configurations available for food-processing and packaging environments.

Saturn Zero Tangent Curved Conveyors can be supplied as standalone compact curves or integrated with modular belt conveyors, inspection equipment, packaging machines, cooling systems, merging systems and complete production lines.

The COMBO models offer a compact L-bar sealer and shrink tunnel in one frame with high reliability which makes it a very popular product

Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product. Single or multipack products are manually loaded on the working table. The ergonomic sealing arm covers the heating element which creates the perfect seal. The motorized conveyor eases the product transfer into the heat chamber for the ultimate package. The integrated heat tunnel features a top, bottom and side heated air flow, twin blowers, teflon mesh belt that are all controlled with the SATU digital keypad
