Industrial continuous sealing for bags and pouches

Bag Sealers

Product Overview

Engineered for Your Production Needs

The BS Series Continuous Band Sealers are industrial-grade continuous rotary sealing machines designed to provide consistent, reliable seals for bags and pouches at high production speeds. Built for continuous operation, the BS Series provides a simple and efficient solution for applications ranging from small lightweight pouches to larger and heavier bags.

The continuous band sealing process automatically carries the open top of the bag through the heated sealing section, creating a uniform seal while allowing products to move continuously through the packaging operation. Temperature and sealing speed can be adjusted according to the bag material and application to achieve the required seal.

The BS Series can seal a broad range of heat-sealable packaging materials including nylon, polypropylene, laminates, Tyvek/polyester and foil, with bag thicknesses up to 20 mil depending on the application. This versatility is consistent with continuous band sealing systems used for applications where seal integrity, production speed and different heat-sealable materials are important.

Two primary configurations are available. The BS1.0E tabletop model provides a compact solution for smaller bags and pouches, with a fixed sealing speed of 200 inches per minute and production of up to 50 four-inch-wide bags per minute.

The BS1.4E heavy-duty model is designed for higher production rates and larger bags. Its adjustable sealing speed reaches up to 600 inches per minute, with production of up to 150 four-inch-wide bags per minute. The system includes both a 5-inch heating section and a 5-inch cooling section for controlled sealing at higher production speeds.

For larger products, the BS1.4E can be equipped with an adjustable-height conveyor and mobile stand with locking casters. The brochure recommends this configuration for bags weighing up to 50 lb and measuring up to 30 inches high.

The BS Series is constructed from stainless steel and anodized aluminum and is designed for demanding industrial production, including 24/7 operation. The sealing section also incorporates an easy Teflon band change mechanism to simplify routine maintenance.

Optional accessories can include an infeed guide, adjustable-height stand, conveyor, trimmer and vacuum trim removal system, allowing the sealer to be configured around the bag format and production requirements.

For more advanced applications, continuous band sealing technology can also be configured with additional automation, product handling and specialized sealing solutions. The Emplex product family, for example, demonstrates how continuous band sealing can scale from compact tabletop machines to high-speed, heavy-duty and washdown systems.

The COMBO models offer a compact L-bar sealer and shrink tunnel in one frame with high reliability which makes it a very popular product

Simple and easy to use machine with a user friendly interface to cover a vast range of packaged products: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, industrial product. Single or multipack products are manually loaded on the working table. The ergonomic sealing arm covers the heating element which creates the perfect seal. The motorized conveyor eases the product transfer into the heat chamber for the ultimate package. The integrated heat tunnel features a top, bottom and side heated air flow, twin blowers, teflon mesh belt that are all controlled with the SATU digital keypad
